Modern in-line cartridges with silver impregnated coconut shell granulated activated carbon. It removes undesired contaminants from water extremely effectively and improves water taste and flavor.
 
Due to its porous structure, carbon is perfect for filtering purposes. Contaminants which can be found in water and which flow through activated carbon are intercepted (adsorbed) in pores and, as a result, water gets purified and free of toxins that could pass through to the distillation process.
 
We recommend to place it after the distillation process, which will give a better lifespan and even better tasting water. Any filter is also a perfect place for bacteria to live and grow. The silver prevents microbiological growth and increases cartridge service life.
 
Change the filter often and make sure to flush the new filter until the carbon dust is flushed out. It is not harmful, but doesn’t look good.
